  • Launched and led local/nationwide campaigns for housing rights, voting rights, the war on drugs, etc. One major campaign being “Renter’s Rising”.
  • Led a team of 5-10 canvassers/phonebankers for Renter’s Rising campaign; within 6-10 months, we were able to get Black Rock to agree to a list of demands from their tenants across various states, including building repairs, building amenities, and more.
  • Review financial statements, activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement for National Canvass team.

  • Due to efforts above, I was a major factor in Intro Bill 146 getting passed, which increased the amount of the CityFHEPS housing voucher for New Yorkers in homeless shelters.
