Ramey Blankenship

I am a motivated professional transitioning from 4 years in retail management to a career in IT with a focus on network engineering and cybersecurity. I hold a bachelors degree in an unrelated field with both my CompTIA Security+ and A+ certifications, with additional training in progress. I want to make the move to IT because I believe it is the future and will be a fulfilling career. I want to leverage my start in techinical knowledge and my proven managerial and IT problem solving experience to secure a position to begin growing and learning within the field.

I have proven to be a valuable asset at every job I have worked. Always starting at a base position and becoming a manager while driving the top sales numbers across the board. At GNC I left the company with an increase of 30 percent over yoy when we were in the negative before and took a store from number 8 to number 1 in the district. I helped take my 5 Star store from number 11 to number 1 in the entire company. During my brief time with Creed I took them from negative yoy to positive 20 percent. While I have had these last three jobs I achieved my bachelors and started education within IT obtaining two certifications and perusing more.
