- CITY OF HOUSTON 5-YEAR CONTRACT 1998/2003, Technician for repair, add moves and changes for the City of Houston, including all city departments. Coordinated with the City of Houston point of contact and closed out workorders with the mayor’s office.
- CITY OF HOUSTON PUBLIC WORKS BLDG. (SUMMER 1999) 611 Walker, Lead Technician worked alongside a crew of six technicians to install Voice and Data cables for a 32-story building. Implemented strategic planning for installing cable from floor to floor, then crossing over ceilings and going into separate conduits to bring lines into designated equipment rooms. Required using a lift to run the cables on the first floor.
- CITY OF HOUSTON WATER DEPT. (FEB.2000), Supervised two crews to install the Voice/Data, Fiber, and Tie cable. Coordinated with City of Houston Senior Tech for the installation requirements, changes, and planning during project completion. (Project required running Tie cable from one building to another; had to use a lift for installation)
- VERIZON LOGISTICS, NORSTAR INSTALLATION CONTRACT 2000/2005, Performed repair on Norstar systems, including add, moves, and changes throughout the City of Houston. I was required to coordinate with the City of Houston's point of contact and close out an order with the mayor's office. Handled and coordinated all logistics involved. I installed new Norstar systems, including walk thru with City of Houston Senior Tech. Coordinated system requirements with office personnel to prepare Norstar equipment to be ordered. - RESTORATION FOR TROPICAL STORM ALLISON 6/2001, I assisted with round-the-clock requirements for restoring the PBX switches, including toning out tie, voice, and data cable for temporary service. I assisted in the installation of two Norstar systems for temporary use and in the installation of the replacement PBX Switch for HPD. Due to the emergency, I was required to work up to eighteen-hour shifts to restore emergency communications.
- CITY OF HOUSTON LIBRARIES, HIGH-SPEED DATA CABLE, 8/ 2001, Supervised the installation of high-speed data cables for libraries throughout the City of Houston. Job responsibilities: performed job survey and coordinated installation with the mayor's office. Installed cable, terminated, and tested work performed for each location.
- POWER OF HOUSTON EVENT, Lead Technician in charge of the installation of Fiber cable for the Cities Power of Houston light show. I had to run fiber lines from several floors out to the roof of many buildings and make connections.
