Founding/Senior Pastor

  • Organized and led the team to plant the Vineyard Church of Hyde Park.
  • Planned and coordinated outreach to students at the University of Chicago and to the Hyde Park community, including large outreach events, street evangelism, and ministry to those in need.
  • Brought together and maintained leadership for a multi-ethnic church throughout the history of our local church.
  • Planned and conducted worship services and worked with key church leaders to carry out church mission.
  • Preached 70% of weekly sermons over 26 years and trained others within the church to preach other Sundays.
  • Recruited and trained life group leaders, and led specialized training groups for preaching and leadership.
  • Collaborated with church leadership to plan master calendar of events.
