• The duties and responsibilities of the mental health rehabilitation specialist are to actively engage with clients to determine the specific services and support that will assist the client in reaching their personal recovery goals. The rehabilitation specialist is to work collaboratively with clients in order to identify treatment goals and the professional referrals and interventions that are to be included in the resident's treatment plan. The rehabilitation specialist is responsible for creating and facilitating rehabilitation services, such as individualized and group sessions, to support youth and reinforce treatment plans and daily living skills.

• Collaborates with other departments to obtain and analyze additional information; to record and process billing effectively. In addition, the billing specialist prepares and keeps an organized filing system for all program documents related to billing to submit monthly reports of billing activities and developments to the CEO and Director.

• Collaborated with management and HR departments to monitor enforcement of Title 22 standards, DCHS, and COA regulations. Observed the work of colleagues to identify compliance issues and provided advice and training as needed. In addition to training, the Compliance Officer will respond to violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedure.

• Provided basic nursing care for patients while collaborating directly with registered nurses and physicians to support the progress of patients' treatment plans.

• Trained in the security, custody, care, and counseling of children while working with parents and the public. Group counselors are required to supervise the health, personal hygiene needs, and the conduct of juveniles in a group living situation. The additional duties are to document residents' information and draft written reports concerning attitudes, behavior, and adjustment of juveniles.
