Summary

After being out of EMS for 30 years and being qualified to live in a 55 and older community, with some reflection, I realized EMS was the first love! The separation from EMS was for personal and financial reasons which lead back into a family business. It was a year ago that EMT became a reality again. It came back so quick. Like "riding a bike". A life time or a career span (30 years) has past and EMS as a hole is so much more then it was in the ole days. Yet still the same in principal. The path lead to were I am currently employed. After almost 9 months it is with regret that I say I feel better opportunities are out there. Silverton is the local first aid squad for the community I reside, so part time I will stay on. Wisdom, maturity, reliability and compassion is what a service gets with me, Dependable provider effective in managing operations. Successful in encouraging team members to work efficiently. This is a true labor of love not just a job.
