Started as patrol deputy. Advanced to K-9 deputy then to Sergeant. Retired as Chief Deputy to the Sheriff. Duties include

  • Oversee daily operations of the department, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of all units. This included managing a fleet of 23 vehicles as well as generating daily, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate strategic planning and implementation of departmental goals and objectives including but not limited to managing our standard operating procedures.
  • Manage budget preparation and allocation, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to a staff of 16 deputies, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Performed rescue functions at accidents, emergencies and disasters by directing traffic and administering emergency medical aid.

Deputy Marshal

Duties as a Deputy Marshall included the following:
