In recovery myself for nearly 20 years now, I know that I have a unique ability to meet the consumer where they are . From my experience knowing that Trauma being a leading contributor to the onset of a mental Illness believe that most if not all addiction is a result of trauma .... My belief is that we as consumers only want to "feel good", how ever that may manifest itself in the make up of the individual. Whether it be a drink, a drug or helping a broken down traveler on the side of the road, the end result is the same, dopamine release. For me helping others is my drug, I work hard at getting the feel good, the only difference today is that there are zero illegal substances consumed to produce the effect. I will gladly explain more if you ask
