As a supervisor at Buffalo Wire Works, I used the skills I learned over the years in my family's business to assure success at my position. With my leadership my crew made sure all jobs were completed correctly and on time. The goals that were set before my shift, we're obtained, allowing the next shifts to move forward with their own projects. If needed, I worked alongside my crew, doing whatever it took to get the job done.
I love to supervise and manage, but my true passion is sales. It is a position that is very cerebral and like chess, you have to be two or three moves ahead to succeed. There are many people who are currently in this position but will never be anything more than a Sales Representative. They will go on a sales call, and they may, or may not close the deal. They will limit themselves and therefore, limit what they are worth.
I'm different. I’m a Closer. I believe every time I go on a sales call I will close it. I don't take no for an answer. My job as a closer is to get a yes, on the first call, because I know the chances of success drops to below 30% after the initial presentation. My job is to close the deal and walk out with an agreement in my hand. If I make money, the company makes money. In sales, the work you put in is proportionate to the money you make. And I work hard.
But sales is not just closing the deal. It is also taking care of your customer during, and after the project is completed. Do a great job and your customer might tell one or two people. Do a bad job, and they'll tell ten to twenty. A closer makes very good money, and with that comes responsibility. Responsibility to take care of their client like they're their only client, from start to finish.
So if you are looking for somebody who can close the deal, service the customer and lead those around them, then I am your man. Be it a supervisorial position or a sales position. I will always give a hundred percent.
