Raquel Santiago

A current cosmetology student in the competitive cosmetology program at Thomas Edison High School of Technology. Is a hard working, experienced student who is knowable in haircutting, hair coloring, hairstyling, shampooing and conditioning, massage techniques and nail care. Has knowledge of how hairstyles will affect lifestyle and appearance of clients. Has over 1,200 cosmetology hours, and is working towards acquiring a full cosmetologists license.

Obtain a paid apprenticeship in a salon environment.

In her free time Raquel enjoys drawing, consistently trying to improve as an illustrator and trying to break down her boundaries as a creative person.  Raquel is a big enjoyer of music, looking for new songs and genres that will make her feet tap and heart dance. Raquel loves spending time with family and close friends, growing up in a family of 8, she is accustom to a busy and packed schedule, taking her siblings to their soccer practices and cheering them on. Raquel enjoys learning about learning the latest fashion trends, and seeing how she can adapt and put her spin on them.
