Member of a crime reduction unit, where we are assigned to high crime areas, In these areas, we deal with violent criminals and wanted felons involved in part 1 crimes. Arrest histories of these suspects include murders, narcotics charges, weapons charges, robberies, burglaries, auto thefts, thefts, sex offenses, and assorted other charges. Additionally, we provide assistance to both internal and external agencies in their investigations. We also assist our local swat team, Homicide and the investigative burea , offering assistance with any needs they may have.

• Unit tasked with proactively addressing high crime areas within our service contract with a focus on addressing crime at inception rather than culmination
• Proactively patrolled unincorporated Harris County responding to 911 calls for service within uniform patrol.

• Assigned as a Criminal Investigator to the Divisional Gang Unit wherein I investigated criminal episodes and activity with a gang nexus
• Conducted follow up investigations on assigned cases including but not limited to photo arrays, custodial and non custodial interrogations and filing charges
• Intel and surveillance driven targeted deployments utilizing both plain clothes and uniform operations.
