• Co Founder & Vice President - Healthy Hearts, University of California Riverside, 10/2018 - 07/2020, Established Healthy Hearts as a student nonprofit organization striving to teach and certify cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the UCR community. Certified over 75 students as BLS providers through AHA certified CPR classes. Demonstrated sidewalk hands-only CPR to the local riverside community during county fairs as well as high school students during UCR events. Established partnership with the UCR School of Medicine and police department to certify first and third year medical students, and prepare students in the case of mass casualty.
• Cardiac Rehab Health Scholar, Kaiser Permanente Riverside, 06/2018 - 03/2020, Promoted patients with cardiac health risks to participate in cardiac rehab programs including fitness and nutrition classes. Monitored patients going through stress tests, ultrasounds, and other procedures. Assisted registered nursing staff with designing and publishing innovative flyers for nutrition classes as well as outreach calls to patients in need of cardiac rehab.
