  • I serve as the Test Material and Diagnostics Equipment (TMDE) coordinator for the maintenance depot in which I keep track of the required annual inspection data for each piece of equipment. I contact the point of contact (POC) at the inspection site to make arrangements for delivery of our equipment and to make arrangements for the items to be shipped back to us.
  • I use an Excel spreadsheet to track the 437 pieces of TMDE by serial number, national stock number (NSN) and inspection date to stay current on calibrations to ensure that the biomedical technicians are using TMDE that is functioning correctly and certified.
  • I maintain an accurate accounting and reporting system for non-expendable property and perform standardized property management control processes. I operate computers to perform records search, data input, and data corrections.
  • Receive incoming medical repair parts and ensure that the material received corresponds correctly to the invoice by inventorying the quantity ordered and quantity received by part number and by referencing our records of purchasing.
  • I also package all equipment that must be sent to the manufacturer for advanced repair that cannot be completed at the depot.
  • During my time at MMODUT I was the POC for several high visibility missions that supplied over 264 emergency repair parts to units located in Iraq and Afghanistan that led to the restoration and serviceability of over 80 mission critical pieces of equipment. By using email messages and through recorded telephone conversations I was able to coordinate the success of our mission.
