• Performs general diagnostic radiologic procedures utilizing standardized positioning and immobilization techniques to minimize patient movement and maximize patient safety.
• Assignments are moderately complex; follows established protocols and has some flexibility in exercising judgment within established parameters. Works under minimal supervision/instruction; may serve as technical specialist/trainer and mentor to less experienced staff.
• Ensures the protection of patients from undue exposure to radiation through the utilization of lead shields and various safety factors.

Operated imaging equipment and performed diagnostic x-rays (if applicable) on patients as ordered by the physician and under the guidance of the physician.

• Maintained all necessary documentation, logs, equipment reports, etc. related to the radiology services offered at the center
• Documented duration of radiation, tested equipment weekly, examined protective x-ray aprons for integrity, and documented the results of tests / examinations.
• Assisted in preparation of operating / procedure rooms, as needed.
