I'm a former high school and college student, going to school for the art. I've worked in creating public paintings as temporary employment in my youth. I worked for JCPenney, fulfilling multiple rolls such as cashiering, restocking, order fulfillment and maintaining clean fitting rooms. After almost a year, I decided to work at Home Depot for better conditions and pay. For over two years, I did order fulfillment and delivery prepping. This consisted of moving drywall, concrete pallets, bricks, fridges, and other various items including small customer orders. I am trained in using a forklift, reach-truck, and ballymore if needed. I am continuing to gain the experience of working with others in different fields of employment. I have just completely my trade school training, earning my OSHA-10 card while gaining experience within the carpentry field. My intentions are to make a positive impact on other workers and benefit the company as a whole, while aiming to increase and show leadership skills.
My current responsibilities consist of making food within every station, making sure the food is specifically prepared to the checks that were rung in. I’m also responsible for making sure the station is cleaned and certain food is pre-prepped.
One of my accomplishments is concerning art, which was featured in an international book by the ARC (Art Renewal Center) due to my attention to detail. I’ve also worked with a program called SACRA Assembly house, which specializes in the building of potential carpenters or workers of different trades. I have gained the experience of framing, drywalling/mudding, and fine carpentry work from a more professional standpoint. I have been able to gain my OSHA-10 as a result of the program, now planning to work within a workshop that specializes in fine carpentry.
