Students for the Exploration and Development of Space – President    January 2023-May 2023

· Rebuilt the club by increasing active members from 3 members to 15, acquiring additional funds, laying down the groundwork for UNLV’s first liquid motor, and restarting the club’s involvement in the international rocketry competition SA-Cup

· Designed, manufactured, and launched a high-power rocket to a height of 6,500 feet with a successful recovery

· Volunteered with different organizations to teach both kids and adults the world of model rocketry and other engineering topics

American Society of Mechanical Engineers – Member    August 2019-February 2020

· Supervised the social media of the organization including pictures, notifications, and events

Collaborated with IKED (Introduce a Kid to Engineering Day) to teach gravity and Newtons Laws with catapults

Solar Panel Automated Robot Cleaner (SPARC) Engineering Capstone – Member   September 2022 – May 2023

· Solar Panel Automated Robot Cleaner, used for residential use in desert environments to increase solar panel efficiency

· In charge of coding the robot with autonomous path navigation and all other functions of the robot

· Involved in the concept and designing of the machine, as well as creating the first physical prototype

Auto-Watering Aeroponics - Solo    April 2021 – June 2021

· Designed and built an automatic, aeroponics watering container to cultivate and grow basic greens and herbs

· Used an Arduino to control a pump, light, and display to water and give visual indicators of plants’ needs and growth

Spaceport America Cup 2021 Competition – Propulsion Member      October 2020 – November 2021

· Prepared, manufactured, and tested a variety of propellant mixtures following a strict quality and safety process

· Utilizing internal ballistics simulation software to predict motor performance and produce thrust curves of motors for use in a third-party rocket Simulation
