Panther Quest Student Leader • North Central

Indianapolis, IN • 08/2022 - Present • 120 hours

  • Help incoming freshmen become comfortable with their new environment and learn the general layout of the school, and lead tours for eighth graders and their families throughout the year.
  • Participated as a leader for PQ the summers before my sophomore and junior years of highschool, and I am planning to volunteer again this upcoming summer.

Counselor In Leadership Training • YMCA Camp Tecumseh

  • Work with two different cabin groups over a period of two weeks as additional counselor support. Take "adopted cabin" to daily activities and meals, supervise them throughout the day, create filler games between activities, and lead nightly routines.
  • Clean camp through picking up trash and weeding/planting around main buildings and cabins.
  • Visit the Wabash and Erie Canal Park–cut branches to clear trails and paths throughout the park, pick mustard roots from off of paths, identify areas with poison ivy.
