Being one out of ten Before and After Child Care Center. We were like a mobile day care.
Hours 6:30-8:30/2:30-6:30
Then we would set up center for that morning and put everything back a away in my office( because we were in the school space) until the afternoon then we would do sit up the centers.
When I would do my office work: from 8:15 to 10:30 I would work on the following things:
Things to Check When Staff Arrive: Snack-count and make sure it was the right snack for that day, Phones, Laptops,I pad,Bathrooms clean and supplies
Office Procedures - make a substitute file, create an Allergy list,Update Licensing Binder, View and Review Staff and Children information and update all information, and Created lesson plans, newsletters, staff meeting main site and my site, inventory list of the site.
Medication- Log and Check Medications paper work, fill- out correctly and follow the rest of Mat procedures.
Parent Board/Table- These all things that needed to br posted : Operating Licensed, Daily Schedule, most recent inspection, lesson plans, Name/Date Snack Menu, Build A Better Future poster, Main/School address and Phone numbers, Email, Cell number and Web address with Facebook, Staff names, and Site name. Foe the Table I pad, Parent Handbook, Tissues and paper and pens, Take in monthly tuitions and record in log book and give out written receipts and take the tuition to the main office.
Logs- Accident, Medication,Evacuation,Shelter in Place, USDA, Payment, and Punch cards.
Emergency- Evacuation maps, Emergency information on all children's site, Emergency Evacuations Signs, Flash lights,Radio and extra batteries for flash light and radio,Notify Main Office and Scholl office when possible of emergency, Poison Control number sticker on the phone, and First Aid Box.
Homework- Children were offer quite time and space to do their homework, check and fill supplies for homework box and help when needed.
Positive Reinforcement Plan- Staff adequately supervising, use appropriate tone/language, move around the room, interact with children, redirect when needed, and review rules as needed
Transitions- Planned and Managed quickly
Snack Procedures- Serve on time, wash hands before and after snack children and staff,Serve complete components,check off at point of service, clean area before and after snack, and Make menu changes on the snack menu before serving snack.
Outdoor- Outside daily weather permitting,take first aid/medication backpack, and mark off limit spaces with cones.

Centers- Space reflects interest of children,children need a variety of activities,suited to children age and interest, material/equipment for the number of children, materials/centers are welcoming/clean/and good shape,regular opportunities for creative arts an drama play, And a comfortable and inviting reading area, building area, kitchen,coloring/drawing, music,cards,and board games
