- As a teacher I worked with children from 12 months to 3 years of age over the course of two years. In my teaching position, I was required to create lesson plans for each month that went along with a theme that included specific letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Activities within these lessons included story-time, crafts, learn through play, and life skills. This current year I moved into the library position, where I check out books to students from 3 to 6 years old. This includes visiting every classroom in our preschool for a 15 minute story-time session with the children. I maintain the books in our library and I do any cataloguing and inventory management of new and old books. I interact daily with my administration and with the other teachers in our school.
