As a DAT (Disaster Action Team) Supervisor and Volunteer Partner with the American Red Cross, I supervised and supported disaster response volunteers, coordinated emergency response efforts, and helped ensure individuals and families affected by disasters received immediate assistance and resources. My responsibilities included responding to emergency situations, overseeing volunteer scheduling and training support, maintaining communication between team members and leadership, and assisting with community outreach and client care services. I also attended local emergency planning meetings, exercises, and trainings to support community preparedness and coordinated response efforts. In addition, I onboarded local volunteers and ensured all required training and certifications were completed and kept current to maintain operational readiness and compliance.

I oversaw the procurement, inventory, distribution, and organization of medical and facility supplies to ensure staff had the resources needed to provide quality resident care. My responsibilities included maintaining appropriate stock levels, managing vendor relationships and ordering processes, monitoring budgets and supply usage, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards, and coordinating equipment and supply availability across departments. I also tracked inventory systems, addressed supply shortages and urgent needs, and supported efficient daily operations throughout the facility. Additionally, I developed and implemented a new inventory management system that allowed for seamless tracking of incoming and outgoing supplies, improving accuracy, accountability, and overall operational efficiency.

Supervised industrial power washing crews on active oil rig sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, hazard mitigation procedures, and site-specific safety protocols.
