Personal growth

I seek to involve myself in as many new experiences as I can. My greatest teachers will always be my children, an 11 year old daughter and 7 year old son. My daughter was born with Cerebral Palsy, due to a stroke during birth, and her diagnosis catapulted me into the world of disabilities and alternative experiences. Because of this experience, I sought out as many resources for parenting that I could, landing me in a Parenting Coach certification so I could support other parents and their emotional experience of raising a child with medical needs. From there, I've launched myself into transformative and educational containers like Non Violent Communication, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems.
