Area of Interest

I’m interested in Mercy Labor & Delivery because I did all of my shadowing hours to get into ECC's nursing program on the L&D floor here at Washington. I had about 24 hours total, and I was able to see 3 cesarean births and one vaginal birth. I was also able to obtain vital signs on some of the new moms, help with hearing screenings on one of the newborns, and helped a laboring mom hold the proper position for an epidural. Being apart of that was incredible and having those opportunities helped me confirm what area of nursing I would like to pursue.
