• Performed NFPEs on patients diagnosed with malnutrition
• Conducted nutrition education and counseling sessions for patients
• Completed 8 weeks of clinical staff relief in oncology unit
• Worked within multidisciplinary team in different clinical departments
• Completed tray evaluations for different therapeutic and consistency diets

Food Service Rotation: Houston Methodist Hospital

• Participated in food production, preparation, and distribution
• Developed and evaluated recipes for acceptability and affordability
• Participated in management functions related to sanitation, security, and scheduling
• Performed clerical duties and customer service
• Organized Deep South Cuisine theme day in hospital’s cafeteria

Community Rotation: UTHealth School of Public Health- Nourish Program

• Developed diabetes related educational videos for local diabetes clinics
• Developed lesson plans and recipes for future healthy cooking classes
• Helped taking care of the department’s garden and produce
• Attended WIC workshop, food bank orientation and webinars.

• Helped plan patients’ meals according to health diagnosis using nutrition analysis software
• Prepared meals and helped in the kitchen following food safety guidelines
• Delivered meals and food carts to patients and to different departments inside the hospital
