• I started out simply playing with and helping to socialize the cats, helping to make them more appealing to families looking to adopt.
• As I got older, the head of the volunteer program trusted me to help care for and rehabilitate feral cats and cats that were not trusted with the younger volunteers.
• In the summer of 2023, I began coming in on additional days of the week in order to help feed the cats, clean their kennels, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the rescue.

-Sat in on/observed multiple surgeries, learning surgery etiquette and getting invaluable experience observing various complex procedures

-assisted with routine examinations, observed how to properly administer certain medicines both orally and via vaccination

-learned the proper technique of how to handle both small and large pets in a medical setting

• Greeted incoming visitors and customers professionally and provided friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
• Confirmed appointments, communicated with clients, and updated client records.
• Kept reception area clean and neat to give visitors positive first impression.
• Answered phone promptly and assisted curious/potential members with any questions they may have about membership opportunities, scheduling, canceling a class, etc.
