Manage day to day operations for INTEGRIS Heart Hospital cardiovascular operating rooms. This includes 4 cardiovascular/thoracic OR's, a hybrid OR and thoracic robotic procedures.

Manage 33 employees, which includes hiring, quarterly meetings, merit increases, coaching/corrective actions.

Collaborate with our CVT surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, high quality operations while also maintaining efficient OR times.

Collaborate with supply chain and materials handling to manage and ensure all supplies and instruments are available for all procedures.

Collaborate with education to ensure our employees are competent and up to date on all training needed to perform their job.

Manage the budget for the CVOR and submit ideas for continuous financial improvements.

Daily multi-tasking due to demands of managing a high acuity unit.

Oversee the Huddle board and collaborate with other team members to collect data and implement process improvements.

Managed day to day surgery schedule, add on cases, emergent cases and all employee assignments.

Timekeeper for department.

Responsible for the 10 week call schedule and holiday schedule for employees.

Collaborated with CVOR manager on Huddle board, interviewing, hiring and coaching/corrective actions of employees.

Audited RN charts to ensure accurate documentation, coached employees when corrections were needed.

Audited employees on the policies/procedures of Universal Protocol and Red Line Safety, did real time education.

Set up in-services for training employees on equipment and procedures. Also led education with employees on various pieces of equipment and procedures.
