I am a highly ambitious freshman who is looking to gain experience in the industry. I have been tested in my previous internships and prevailed even though that required some learning points along the way.

Work History

Bellville ISD Maintenance Crew
  • Tend to matters around my hometown schools such as repairing worn out classrooms, filling in potholes and also fixing plumbing and electrical problems.

Logan Industries
  • This position was my first internship where I got to actually deal with engineers in industry
  • During my summer at Logan, I learned the basics of the shop floor as well as the basics of solidworks and a little excel.

ADPi Houseboy
  • In this job I work a few hours a week to make a little spending money
  • So far I have learned the art of grunt work because for the most part I wash dishes and mop floors in the kitchen

  • Learned efficiency of processes on the shop floor to keep up a high output percentage of products and rebuilds.
  • Learned how to communicate professionally with other engineers.
  • Gained exposure to the basics of CAD and Excel. Also learned the basics of the shop floor and the different processes that the company uses to keep up high output.

  • While volunteering for my hometown church I was able to participate in food drives and also with home improvement for those who cannot create a safe environment for themselves
  • I also volunteered for Challenger sports which helps children with special needs become involved in sports.

Leadership Experience

  • Engineering LLC, Being a part of the engineering living learning community means that I live in a dorm with several other engineering students so that I can meet people with similar interests as for me. We get to attend events in our dorm together and become closer with the community around us.
  • Lambda Chi Alpha, In this fraternity, I've been given opportunities to make friends, talk to alumni in industry and also get to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. I think this is one way that Aggieland has been welcoming to me and helped me find my people.

Cars, Movies, Sports, Travel

I am very interested in both classic cars and movies as I am sort of an old soul. I have also been highly active in sports from a young age and enjoy being outside competing. Finally, I enjoy traveling to new places and exploring different cultures and lifestyles.
