.Responsible for new customers as well as providing high quality service to current customers

.Generates sales quotations requiring a working knowledge of company products, procedures and practices.

.Enters orders into computer system

.Provides training and assistance to less experience Sales Representatives.

.Utilizes specialized knowledge and experience to assist customer with issues such as product selection, pricing and availability.

.Manages yard staff and directs workers in loading, unloading and movement of materials on the premises utilizing material handling equipment and machinery, overseas receiving of yard materials and instruct yard workers in receiving and storage procedures.

.Ensures that employees receive proper training and certification, if necessary, to operate equipment and machinery used in yard, ensures that equipment is serviced on schedule and maintained effectively.

.On occasion, will perform the same duties as other yard as other yard personnel.

.Assist customers in the location and loading product.

.Reviews materials loaded against invoice or requisition, completes and routes paperwork appropriately.

.Moves product/materials throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areas.

.Performs routine cleanup of yard

.Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers, attends periodic safety meetings as required.
