I joined the National Guard my senior year of High School and I have continue to extend my contract through out the years. I joined as a patient administrative specialist and later re-classed my MOS (military job specialty) to a cook. I enjoyed my years of service because I was able to meet new people to work with and go to new places to explore and train. I continue to stay in the guards for the benefits of mine and my family's future. Also, I am continuing to advance in leadership and be able to teach and train new soldiers that join the Army National Guard.
