Goals

I have been involved with teaching all of my profession life. Beginning in Medical school where I was heavily involved in teaching medical students In history and physical examination. An being first a student and later a colleague on the same team as my esteemed teacher Dr. Basil Zitelli and others. And later at Baylor College of Medicine when I worked at Texas Children’s Hospital where I taught both general pediatric and pediatric cardiology in a clinic setting. along with siting on the academic admissions board and mentorship programs. I would like to work in an environment that is dedicated and focused on teaching, academic development , mentorship and clinical practice. To have colleagues with knowledge and experience that I don’t have as we all continue to evolve as clinicians and educators. And Diversity is essential – to be in an environment where diversity is welcome, desired and respected. Married with 3 grown professional children, 2 grandkids and total of 6 dogs.
