Renu Sharma

Experienced cancer biologist and translational researcher specializing in tumor immunology, molecular oncology, and computational biology. Skilled at integrating wet-lab experimentation, bioinformatics, and in-vivo models to analyze cancer progression, immune evasion, and therapy resistance. Made groundbreaking discoveries in BMP4-, RHOA-, and Wnt-driven breast cancer metastasis during Ph.D. work at IIT Guwahati, identifying potential targets for drug intervention. Currently at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, utilizing genomics, molecular biology, and immunotherapy to uncover genomic rearrangements in TNBC and advance precision-oncology approaches.
