Summary

I am a responsible Police Officer proficient in patrolling, arrests, investigations, citations and secretary work including but not limited to record filing and organization.

I began my career completing my training cycles in the 011th and 17th district. while my time in aforementioned districts, I was able conduct numerous arrests ranging from domestic arrests, to thefts and further more. While completing my cycles, I grew a passion and a drive for excellence in an attempt to better serve the City Of Chicago. After completing my training cycles, I was detailed to 001st district on third watch where until I was later assigned to midnights in the 001st district. While working midnights, i was able to execute numerous arrests for robberies and burglaries. I was able to strive in arrests, which became a remarkable learning experience. While doing so, I learned and was able to fine-tune the ability to work amongst peers for a better result and apprehension of offenders when needed. Working in the business district has allowed me to work and develop rapports with individuals around the district to address community concerns. While assigned to the first watch, I was asked to fill both roles on the desk and as secretary, to which I agreed. While doing so, I have had the privilege of working for amazing leadership. I have been responsible for completing work schedules, watch sheets, completing unit rosters for dispatchers amongst other paperwork. I have been responsible for sorting and filing paperwork along with assisting fellow peers with the completion of furlough slips, overtime slips, use-time slips. At the end of my tour, I conclude my work day by submitting a watch commander log which contains news worthy events which happened in district along with missions conducted within the district. Accompanying this is a shift change audit, which is completed on a daily basis. I look forward to gaining further knowledge within the department, and I would appreciate any consideration.

I have a total of nine years working for the Chicago Police Department ranging from a beat car to secretary and would highly appreciate any opportunity to be given a chance in a new work responsibility/atmosphere.
