As a Computer Technology Teacher, I designed and facilitated a hands-on, station-based learning environment that integrated computer science with real-world STEM applications. The classroom was structured around 10 specialized computer and lab stations, each focused on a distinct scientific or technical discipline, allowing students to rotate through authentic, career-connected experiences.

• At the AutoCAD station, students developed architectural drawings and design plans, gaining experience with industry-standard drafting software used in engineering and construction fields.
• The weather station simulated the work of meteorological professionals, where students analyzed data and completed tasks aligned with responsibilities found in weather services and forecasting careers.
• In the DNA investigation station, students engaged in forensic science by analyzing DNA evidence to solve a simulated crime, applying principles of biology and critical thinking.
• The robotics station challenged students to program robotic systems to successfully complete tasks such as pick-and-place operations, reinforcing coding, automation, and engineering design concepts.
• At the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining station, students created and executed programs to mill physical materials, providing exposure to precision manufacturing processes used in industry.
• The engineering station focused on structural design, where students built and tested bridges to evaluate load-bearing capacity and understand principles of physics and materials science.
• A hydroponic greenhouse station allowed students to explore agricultural science by growing a variety of plants using hydroponic systems, emphasizing sustainability, biology, and modern farming techniques.

Through this multi-station model, students were immersed in a diverse range of STEM fields, developing technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and real-world career awareness in an engaging, applied learning environment.
