Summary
I grew up on a farm in Southeast South Dakota and that is where I learned my work ethic. I work hard to take care of my family, my friends, and my team members at work. I strive to make each student and teacher that I work with feel successful and accomplished in their daily life. I also like to enjoy my life spending time with my family horseback riding, camping, and getting together with extended family.
Having spent over 35 years in special education and the past 5 years as a fourth grade teacher, I have had vast experience at many levels of instruction and leadership. These experiences have formed my vision which is to include family, educational staff, advocates, and students in the education process so each student can achieve their goals and become successful members of society.
