- Packing chips, checking the bag is well sealed and the Julian date is correct, then setting the boxes neatly organized on a pallet. Once pallet full enter it into the system so the forklift would pick it up. Communication with the operators when ever the Julian date was wrong so they could fix in time.
- Operating automatic box machines, would be in charged of running 7 machines loading them with boxes. Had a schedule to know when to change different size boxes, when changing boxes I would take all the boxes out the magazine go into the system and set up for the correct size boxes letting the machine set up once set load it with the correct boxes and start it up. Learned to diagnose the machine, when ever it wouldn't fold a box properly I'd have to make adjustments to the system or either it was mechanical fault like a air line leaking or the vertical folds or horizontal folds were stuck id go in there and fix. Priority was to have the 7 machines running so the chips would have boxes to go into. Keeping a clean environment to avoid trip hazards going from one machine to the next.
- Communication with operators and warehouse was very important. The system would show we had certain size boxes when warehouse didn't. Also check up with the operators making sure the schedule was on point so I'd be ready with the correct boxes for the set up.
