I earned my OSHA 30 through high school where we would go over safety trainings, 30 hours of class time, and also on hands one on one training on safety  material. For example how cords shouldn't have no wires exposed , and if higher then 6 ft off the ground you have to be tied off and have three points of contact. Also we have to be wearing the proper PPE depending on the job requirement, for example for Welding you would need your safety glasses, proper welding helmet, and the gloves shouldn't have any holes or tears. My previous employer was Towerhead Climber where the set of requirements by OSHA are different. For example I would have to wear a harness, gloves,steel toe shoes, long sleeves, and a yo-yo. All of these requirements are set by OSHA for our safety and are all different based on the job at hand.
