Hello! My name is Ricardo Napoles, and I am currently interested in the position of inspector at Anchor NW. I believe that in the last 3 yearsI learned a lot about maintenance in our buildings. From working in turnovers, work orders and responding to building emergencies. In terms of work related to the inspection position, when I first started at anchor we were doing our own move out inspections for the turnovers. I also worked closely with Tobin and Alex doing unit by unit inspections in 8 of our buildings. Giving that currently work in turnovers I know what to expect for move out and final inspections, like time efficiency and zero to little callbacks. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the next steps, thank you for taking the time to look over my resume.
As a Maintenance Tech 2 I work on unit turnovers which includes painting the unit and repairing anything wrong to make sure it is ready for a new tenant.
I also take care of tenant filed work orders. These range from a simple light bulb replacement to replacing appliance parts, replacing garbage disposals, fixing doors, and installing blinds.
There are also four buildings I walk 2 times a week, these walks include checking hallways for anything out of the ordinary, changing garbage bags/dog stations, doing the buildings inventory for our turnover supplies, and all in all making sure the outside of our buildings is looking good.
I also go on-call four times a year for a week. During this week I’m tasked with responding to any emergency in our buildings or a tenants apartment. Some of these emergencies are locked out tenants, leaks or fires and dead door batteries.
