At Layton construction I worked with supervisor's to complete finish work at the new prison. I was given this opportunity because of my work ethic with innovative excavation. Glen Hatch a supervisor at Layton construction asked me to come and run a crew of temp workers performing finish work inside and outside of the buildings at the new Utah state prison.
At Jwright I was on the dirt crew where we built road ways, dug large storm water retention ponds and dams, and laid main line, dug sewer and water laterals,set water meter boxes, installed storm drain, leveled and performed sub and final grades. At Jwright I was responsible for running our largest excavator a 374D cat loading haul trucks, I quickly became the fastest and most efficient at loading haul trucks on mass excavations using GPS and without. I also ran large and small dozers with GPS and without, I also ran graders, haul trucks, rollers, skid steers and water trucks
At innovative excavation I ran several pieces of equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, and skid steers. My responsibilities included digging footings for the new prison using large and small excavators. I also ran a large loader hauling aggregate to spots on the job. I also backfilled the footings and prepped for flat work.
As the owner of preformance I performed duties such as hiring employees, estimating projects, working closely with my crews to ensure a safe and efficient environment. At preformance construction we did jobs ranging from landscaping to large excavation jobs. We were also subcontractors for UDOT and Kewit Clyde installing sound wall. We also owned preformance logistics with an eight truck fleet and a heavy transport truck. We hauled goods long haul and local. We also had all the wall fixes in every zone in Utah
