I am a Certified and Oregon licensed Pharmacy Technician with over 14 years of experience in carrying out day-to-day activities in retail, educational and hospital inpatient pharmacy settings. Extremely knowledgeable and and have diverse experience in processing prescriptions, from intake, typing, filing completely through dispensing to the customer in an accurate and efficient manner autonomously. As, paraprofessional, I felt it is my responsibility to take as much of the workload off of the pharmacist and complete all pharmacy tasks allowed by the pharmacist and law. As such, I believe it is foundational to take personal ownership and responsibility in completing every task. Consistently give my best and give complete attention to all tasks, reducing errors. Disposed of outdated medications on a regular basis a nd have completed daily Return to Stock, RTS. Served on the Quality Control team which identified, problem solved, and implemented improved procedures or techniques to reduce errors. Extensive experience in compounding, mixing IV medications as well as Total Parenteral Nutrition, TPN's. Extensive pharmacy insurance experience including resolving rejects, errors and processing Prior Authorizations, PA's. History of impeccable of providing superior customer service to both internal and external customers year in and year out.
