● U.S. Army (1978-1981) Served active duty as a Missile Repair (27E). Duties were to repair TOW missile systems in the field. Stationed at Ft. Polk, LA in the 5th.Division and Camp Sears Korea in the 2nd Division. During time served I went to Ft. Drum NY for cold weather training and various locations in Korea for mountain training. Due to my skills I was chosen to participate during Team Spirit ’80 and ’81 providing continuous support for heavy weapons in the frozen rice paddies along the DMZ that along with countless other soldiers helped maintain boarder security. During my tour in Korea was selected to work as a member of the IG (Inspector General) Team for heavy weapons. I was one of the soldiers that provided front line service for missile systems on the DMZ.
● Army National Guard (1983-1990) Infantry (11B) Served as a Sgt. I was in charge of a squad and was trained for jungle warfare during multiple assignments in Panama Canal and Puerto Rico.
