- I have been going to church since I was a toddler and I grew up at First Baptist Church in Snyder Tx.Then as soon as I got out of high school I quit going to church. I learned all about Jesus but never got to know him as my personal savior. I had went to a concert at my high school they brought the gospel to us kids and told us if we would like to get saved we could meet with them in the choir room. We were lead in the sinners prayer but I still didn't receive him as my Lord until later on in life when I was 33 years old. I realized I was still lost. A man named Neal Attaway showed me how to make Jesus Lord of my life. Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved so I made him Lord of my life and began to seek his will in my life. I am now 68 yrs old and have been living the christian life for 35 years. I am justified by his death on the cross and now being sanctified until I go home to be with him. I will then share in his Glory. I would like to give you a short summary of my life as I served in a few churches. I was an adult Sunday school teacher for two years and I also was a live in Director of the Safehouse that was for past offenders who wanted to better there life's. I also followed pastor Cliff in the prison ministry called KAIROS. I served with 42 men and 25 woman who were called the outside angels. I went in on ten KAIROS over a span of 5 years. I married my wife Margaret on September 30, 2017 and we moved our letter to Calvary Baptist. I served there as a buss driver and a greeter. I also go to Freeway Ministry on Saturday's. This is where I serve as an alter worker on the first Saturday of each month during the week. My wife Margaret and I cleaned the church during the week. I have preached at Union Baptist a few times and at two other churches when didn't have a Pastor. I am now seeking a Senior pastor job and would like to come and preach in view of a call at Champion Baptist.Thank you and God bless you.

I have a license to preach the gospel that was issued to me by the pastor of Union Baptist church on October 23rd of 2011 I will include an attached copy of that with my resume I was a member at Union Baptist from 2004 to 2017 At that time in my life I got married to my wife Margaret Fox Harper and since her kids were going to Calvary Baptist I decided to move my membership back to Calvary where I had been a member previously for around 4 yrs before moving to Union Baptist I am now serving at Calvary Baptist where i am a greeter and also served as a buss driver to pick up folks who did not have a ride to worship I am also serving in the ministry called Freeway This is a ministry for folks who have or have had a addiction and needing help getting this out of their life by replacing it with the love of Jesus I am the alter call person on the first Saturday of the month I also served in a prison ministry called KAIROS for 5 years as clergy I would like to tell you a little more about it when I get to meet with you GOD BLESS you and I look forward meeting with the pulpit committee
