Communicates departmental values, policies, procedures and practices in court hearings regarding detained and pre-adjudicated youth.

Provides case coordination, and limited case management, for youth to be expedited out of detention status.

Promotes collaboration among state agencies, the judiciary, communities and youth services organizations.

Ability to understand, explain, and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, etc. governing traditional juvenile court processes.

Assuring client compliance with agency rules, regulations, policies/procedures.

Conferring with staff to exchange client and unit information.

Maintaining /fulfilling supervisory duties in the absence of my direct supervisor.

Responsible for grievance hearings and show cause hearings on the department level.

Assisted with labor/management issues.

Represented union members at the step 1, 2 and 3 levels.
