  • MEMORANDUM FOR Record
  • SUBJECT: Reference Letter for Mr. Richard Hoyt
  • To whom it may Concern:
  • Mr. Hoyt has worked as our state worker for approximately 14 years in Ithaca. I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Hoyt for the last twenty five months. During this time Mr. Hoyt has shown a very high level of knowledge, dedication, and loyalty while at work.
  • This armory has received multiple accommodations for cleanliness from GEN Raymond Shields and The Adjutant General Patrick Murphy. This is a direct result of Mr. Hoyts hard work and dedication. Mr. Hoyt has installed LED lighting throughout this armory, supervised a million dollar roof renovation, renovated a fifty thousand dollar gym, re-tiled all the floors and re-painted the entire armory. Recently installed a EST 2000 Training facility in are range
  • Mr. Hoyt is a tireless worker and is always willing to help in any situation. I have never seen Mr. Hoyt come in late. I have been to multiple armories around NYS and there is not a more knowledgeable employee or a better maintain installation. Mr. Hoyt has worked many different forms of construction and these skills have served him well while working here in Ithaca. Mr. Hoyt is also very well versed as a mechanic and spent 11 years as a foreman supervising a crew of nine employees.
  • As the Sargent major of Delta Company 2/108th Infantry I formally would without hesitation recommend Mr. Richard Hoyt for the position of Regional General Mechanic. He is a great asset and should be placed in a position with higher responsibility. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at (585)967-0913
