Served in various roles from Compound Lieutenant to Shift Commander, responsible for the safe and secure operation of the correctional facility. Ensures all rules and regulations of the correctional facility are being understood and adhered to by all staff. Always maintains a professional attitude, especially when handling communication with administration and outside agencies. Ensuring that the chain-of-command is followed to maintain a continuity of institutional operations, Collaborate closely with the Major's office and Administration to disseminate and ensure implementation of all departmental directives. Directly responsible for processing all department reports, communications, schedules and records in accordance with NJDOC policy and procedure.

Area Sergeant responsible for the safe and secure operation of the correctional facility. Responsible for ensuring that the officers under my supervision exhibited the proper skills and had the proper support to maintain a safe working environment. Served as a mentor to less experienced staff, providing guidance as needed. Managed, scheduled and dispatched manpower to ensure adequate staffing was posted and available as needed. Provided oversight in maintaining control of the inmate population, ensuring that all inmates were treated in a manner consistent with all institutional guidelines and NJ legislation.
