  • I Conducted and supervised performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks and services on vehicle components, such as compression ignition engines, fuel systems, air induction and exhaust systems, cooling systems, brake systems and lines, and powertrain components, including frame cross members, transmissions, transfer cases, propeller shaft assemblies, hydraulic systems, and central tire inflation systems, using a basic mechanic toolbox, power tools and by taking advantage of the MSD for instructional help .
  • I Serviced, adjusted, and replaced hydraulic and electrical component assemblies of light and heavy wheeled vehicles
  • I Used troubleshooting procedures such as in the MSD with the help of, multimeters, battery load testers, Alternator testers, hand tools, power tools, radiator pressure pump tools and special test equipment.
  • I Managed all levels of preventive maintenance daily, ensuring all maintenance followed all published Army Safety Regulations.
  • While focusing on proper tool use and the safe handling of any tool, for me and fellow peers to ensure safety in the workplace, and proper wear and use of Personal Protective Equipment when needed.
  • Troubleshoot fault codes, such as Transmission codes, bad sensors and instruments on tactical vehicles in the fuse box, to perform maintenance and repairs using military-issued tactical manuals.

  • My name is Richard Nunez Jr. I was born in Abilene, TX, on February12,2000. My work has always been hands-on, and safety is my top priority. No matter how small or stressful the task, I maintain a level head and ensure that everything is done correctly, safely, and promptly. Perfection is my path to feeling secure within myself, knowing that I have completed the job to the best of my ability, regardless of the type of work involved.
  • I am a master in teamwork and team building, and I have never had an issue getting along with higher-ranking individuals or fellow colleagues. I am the person others turn to for help, and I am always willing to teach, regardless of the circumstances. The skills I have acquired stem from hard work, countless hours in deployments, and hands-on experience both in the motor pool and beyond, often without supervision.
  • I prioritize good practices daily to remain efficient in my role, with safety as the first step to ensure that tasks are completed on time. I joined the military in2020, which has been the best decision I’ve made to improve my life and provide for my family. I am married and a father of two amazing boys.
