1997-Started with RCN as Install/Repair Tech installing and troubleshooting broadband service for customers from tap to customer equipment
1998-Became a Maintenance Tech with RCN troubleshooting outside plant from the Head End to customer site
2000-Became a Head End Tech, job duties include but not limited to keeping system uptime to a maximum using various test equipment from spectrum analyzers to RF meters to optical fault locators and power meters, working with various head end equipment including satellite receivers, video and IP encoders, optical distribution and receive equipment, CMTS wiring and setup, PEG service with SDI transport equipment and channel insertion, Media Links video/data circuits for our network carriers, Netinsight equipment for CTV national service via internet I have been in charge of contractors for including creating material lists, planning and organizing for several hub relocation projects
