  • I spent a year and a half there as a sales associate. I learned the needs of customers and helped them find the outdoor equipment they needed.
  • I was trained in as many areas of the store as possible to facilitate the needs of the business. I spend most of my time in my department, but wherever they need me, I am able to perform.
  • I am one of the few people trained in banking. On any banking day, I handle and count all the cash done on the previous day. I make deposits as needed and make sure our store is ready for the next day of sales.
  • I have spent the last half year working as a Bicycle/Ski technician and service advisor. While most of my work is now in the workshop, I'm often helping my associates sell bicycles, or completing bicycle sales on my own.
  • Since my departmental move to the shop, as a service advisor, I ensure everything runs smoothly. I make sure the techs, including myself, are in the best possible environment to work efficiently. Every work order is labeled, and appropriate notes are with every service. When parts come in, I assign them to each bike that they were ordered for and ensure accurate pricing.
  • While it is part-time only, I often work full weeks. When the store needs coverage, I'm often the first called.
  • I perform cashier duties, even from the shop. An important part of bicycle sales is making sure the customer has everything they need to succeed and is able to go home happy with their purchase.
