To whom it may concern,
Please let me introduce myself. I was born into a family of Carpenters and Machinists. Over the years I became both an accomplished Carpenter and a skilled hobby machinist.
My work experiences have made me knowledgeable in most areas of the Construction industry. From Excavation, to Concrete (flat and formed), to Structural framing (both wood and steel), and most Finish systems.
I have worked with and led many crews and Sub Contractors over the years. I have done this for other companies and for my own company which I started in 1996 and still to some smaller projects to this day.
I tried office based management for a few years and have since decided that that type of work is not how I want to end my career. I would like to finish my career doing what I do best and also maybe teach something new to some of the younger generation while I can.
I believe if accepted I could be a good asset to your company in one area or another.
Thanks for your consideration
