This role as a Sanitation Supervisor has been a step up from my previous roles in leadership in the sense of responsibility and pressure to uphold and exceed expectations. Although this position has been a step forward in my career, it has come with its costs and taken its tolls. Nevertheless, there is no greater feeling or sense of accomplishment than being an important part of a successful mission, team and organization. This role has required me to be very hands on at times as the company downsized the amount of personnel on the sanitation team from approximately 20 to now 7 while still completing my everyday administrative responsibilities. This position has required me but not limited me to:

• Develop and implement sanitation protocols to enhance operational efficiency.
• Trained team members on cleaning procedures and proper use of equipment.
• Conducted regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards across facilities.
• Collaborated with management to develop waste reduction initiatives and sustainability practices.
• Analyzed sanitation processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving measures.
• Managed chemical inventory, ensuring safe storage and handling practices were followed at all times.
• Ensured timely completion of sanitation tasks through effective communication and teamwork amongst staff members.
• Improved overall facility hygiene by conducting thorough audits and addressing areas of concern promptly.
• Supervised sanitation staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Sanitation Senior Lead position has required me to use my critical thinking skills, be ready to step up and get my hands dirty when necessary while still displaying the support and leadership needed by the sanitation team. I was responsible for ensuring all team members were being productive while following all company ssop, gmp, and safety guidelines and procedures at all times. My responsibility as the senior lead included but was not limited to:

• Ensure that all production areas and equipment are clean and ready for production in a timely manner all while exceeding quality and food safety standards,
• Played an integral role in passing industry inspections by maintaining rigorous sanitation standards throughout the facility,
• Facilitated communication between the sanitation department and management teams on matters relating to hygiene or safety concerns affecting daily operations within the facility,
• Collaborated with other departments to develop comprehensive sanitation protocols, resulting in improved overall facility hygiene,
• Supervised and directed daily work of team of up to 30 sanitation personnel,
• Coordinated daily tasks and schedules for the sanitation team, maximizing productivity while minimizing downtime in production areas,
• Delegated assignments and verified work quality and completion according to facility and regulatory standards,
• Evaluated employee performance within the sanitation department, providing feedback and guidance as needed to maintain high standards of service excellence,
• Supervised supplies in inventory and submitted reorder requests,
• Followed safety standards and established SOPs when handling, mixing and storing hazardous chemicals,
• Maintained optimal supply levels to meet daily and special cleaning needs.

The Sanitation Senior Lead position required me to have adequate communication sanitation team and other departments. I was responsible for ensuring all team members were following all company gmp, ssop, and safety procedures and guidelines. I would frequently need to disassemble, troubleshoot, and reassemble machines and food processing equipment to ensure cleanliness of all areas and equipment. Other responsibilities included but were not limited to:

• Completing daily sanitation reports along with daily chemical titrations
• Ensured compliance with industry safety standards through rigorous inspection and testing protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
• Enhanced system performance by troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, fostering strong working relationships across departments
