  • Responsible for monitoring the daily operation of the American Airlines Crew Tracking Department and acting as a liaison between other departments within Crew Scheduling and FAA Flight Dispatch.
  • Monitoring and performing sequence pairings for FAR Parts 117 and 121 for maintenance ferries, extra sections, rescue missions, charter operations, critical operations, and TUL flying.
  • Provides strong analytical recommendations and guidance to our FSMs, APA, and APFA. Additionally, interprets and applies knowledge of collaborative agreements for the union group.
  • Monitoring and analyzing crews’ legality risks from operational disruptions and offering solutions to mitigate potential risks that least impact to the station, customer experience, and aircraft routing.

  • Working with the crew coordinator, unit, and other external departments to ensure all American Airlines flights depart ontime with minimum crew meet, complying with all FAA regulations.
  • Reviewing reports from Tableau and taking action such as creating, modifying, or fixing crew-member sequences to maintain schedule operations during operational disruptions. Collecting data feedback to improve performance and operational reliability.
  • Analyzing red flag sequence pairings and making modifications to fix any FARs issues. Processing mid-sequence fatigue, sick calls, and recovery flights to ensure on-time departures or minimal delays.
  • Monitoring Crew-Watch and related tools, and training or assisting new hires in Crew Tracking. Running Tableau reports and ensuring all RON or flight disruptions are properly processed correctly.
