
1. Hostess
i. Greet and seat guests
ii. Ensure everyone has menus
iii. Help servers with waters and extra plates, chairs, and napkins with bigger parties
2. To-go
i. Take to-go orders in person and over the phone
ii. Bag all orders (in person, phone, and online) ensuring all orders had proper eating utensils, napkins, and sauces
iii. Help bring food cooked in the back out to servers/bar
3. Server
i. Size of parties & tables vary, max 8 people at a table with multiple parties depending (i.e., 2 parties of 4, 2 parties of 2 and 1 party of 3, or 1 party of 7 or 8, etc.) sometimes 9 or 10 people parties as well.
ii. Greet guests, familiarize them with the process if it's their first time, ask about any birthdays/special occasions being celebrated
iii. Deliver drinks and any appetizers/sushi ordered, as well as soups and salads that come with their meals
iv. Bring refills/anything else the guest needs while the chef cooks food at their table
v. Pre-buss tables (take away all dirty plates after boxes are brought out)
vi. Deliver ice cream and sing our special happy birthday/happy song in Japanese to parties with birthdays
